I am Melanie, your North Idaho Reading Tutor. As a certified teacher with 20 plus years' experience, I am passionate and dedicated to providing systematic, explicit phonics instruction. In my practice, I offer specialized intensive support for both dyslexia and literacy improvement, serving both homeschoolers and public school students with personalized, affordable care. Sessions take place in a safe and encouraging environment in my home office. This allows me to keep pricing lower than local centers and gives students one-on-one uninterrupted attention. Online sessions are an option under certain circumstances. During my career, I have helped children develop a joy for reading in public schools, private schools and I have homeschooled my own daughter. Parents are always welcome to sit in on lessons, to see the magic happen. I look forward to connecting!
